Too many times I used to say these things over and over and I know I needed to change my outlook and the decisions I was making in life. I can safely say there’s now not a day that goes by where I’m not saying these things anymore, the reason for that is because I took action.

I’m fortunate enough to have experienced many things in my career but the most important decisions I have made have been where I have taken the biggest risk. these risks weren’t going off on a whim but well thought about, calculated risks. When I now look back at those decisions they do not even feel like risks anymore and I know I was listening to my intuition and followed my gut and took the “risk”. I think it would have been more of a risk to not make the move. what I have realized is that life’s too short to not go after what you want in your life.

Risk and reward

If that means investing in yourself then so be it, I have done that if that means leaving a good opportunity behind where you are comfortable then so be it, I have done that too if it means sacrificing certain things in your life to make progress in others then so be it.. and guess what I have done that too. As you can see there is a running theme here, I’m not saying that I know everything and I always make the right decisions, but I do know I can help people and give people the confidence to make those decisions and take calculated risks by giving them the power and knowledge to do so to make a more meaningful career.

Invest in yourself

Brand, building an online education platform, or getting into fashion work a have paved the way for myself to be able to do these things and I want to help others do the same in their way.

The mentorship program is something that came to me 1 day which I why I know I’m completely aligned with this project. it’s going to be one of my biggest challenges yet but also most rewarding and I expect nothing less for my students who enroll in it.
